Course Description: Culinary arts is a course designed to enhance and simulate the application of food through culinary presentation and management skills. The course instructs and replicates a multi-phase food service operation, encompassing presentation techniques including, sanitation, safety, basic cooking principles, baking, pastry, equipment and knives, recipes and measuring, nutrition, stocks, sauces and soups, meat, poultry and fish, menu planning and job skills.
