BCSSSD Cares Hearts Project
The purpose of the Woodshop is to increase job readiness and job skills through multiple production projects that are sold to the public. Students increase their independence and social skills in a work setting. Some tools that are used in the shop are:
- Various power tools
- Various hand toolsSkills taught include:
- Following safety procedures
- Constructing and finishing a project
- Getting along with fellow workers
- Following directions
