BCSSSD Board of Education Goals 2020-2021

    • To support the superintendent to assure the ongoing successful transition of the new Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction, Assistant Superintendent for Equality and Diversity and the new business administrator.

    • To support the ongoing professional development in technology for all students and staff inclusive of Apps, hotspots, connectivity, extensions and Google Suite that position the faculty to provide students with the skills necessary to access, manage, evaluate, and synthesize information essential to a virtual environment any place and any time whether synchronously or asynchronously.

    • To provide professional development to staff through Zones of Regulation in order to identify, develop, and implement a Social Emotional Learning Curriculum supplemented by positive behavior support and intervention support to positively impact student growth and wellbeing.

    • To support the implementation of the Strategic Plan for Enrollment across all campuses.

    • To support the efforts for eligible students in grades 9-12 to participate in Community Based Instruction (CBI) or a Structured Learning Experience (SLE) be it person or in Workbased learning Lab which will complement their Tiered Transitional Learning goals and objectives.
