Programs for Students with Behavior Disorders
-
The mission of this program is to foster and promote a safe and positive school environment that enhances student learning through teaching and recognizing positive behavior. Our mission is to provide a positive, safe, nurturing, and respectful environment where all students have the opportunity to become productive members of the community through academics, life skills, and workplace and college readiness. This is accomplished through a Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports (PBIS) model as well as character education.
Students in this program receive therapeutic services according to their Individualized Education Program (IEP). Students can engage in a variety of special programs that include: structured learning experience, community-based instruction, and paid work study. Students can participate in activities such as track, volleyball, swimming, and bowling.
