Almost 20 ago I met a family that changed my life forever. This family had three sons diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). I worked at their home doing Applied Behavior Analysis therapy with each of them. This experience directed me down a whole new road in my life. At the time, I was planning to go to law school; instead I pursued my Masters in Special Education at Widener University.
I became a certified special education teacher and taught a self contained class for students with autism. During this time, I continued my coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis at Penn State University. I received my Board Certification in December of 2005. I continued my career as an Autism Consultant and then received my Supervisor of Education certification from Rutger’s University. I have recently completed my principal coursework from the University of Scranton this year in 2015.
Through this journey I have been blessed to have two wonderful daughters who are now ages eleven and eight, and a wonderful supportive husband.
I am very passionate about providing high quality services to students with autism. It is very rewarding to help support the families and staff who put their hearts and love into helping our students each and every day. Each student touches my life forever.
